Stations

The North Tahoe Fire Protection District provides services through seven fire stations.

Facilities Coordinator Bjorn Beckman and Fire Marshal Brent Armstrong are responsible for the coordination, maintenance, repairs, and permitting compliance for all stations.

Station 51

Station 51 is our newest station, completed in 2012, and is a LEED certified building. It is a full-time staffed station and also houses the Administration and Fire Prevention Bureau.

Station 52

288 North Shore Blvd., Kings Beach 96143

Station 52 is staffed full-time. It is also equipped with a roof ventilation prop and forcible entry door for training.

Station 53

5425 West Lake Blvd., Homewood 96141

Station 53 is staffed full-time. This station houses the District’s Water Tender.

Station 54

159 Observation Dr., Tahoe City 96145

Station 54 is the District’s Maintenance Shop.

Station 55

240 Carnelian Bay Rd., Carnelian Bay 96140

Station 55 is staffed April through October by CAL FIRE.

Station 56

270 Alpine Meadows Rd., Alpine Meadows 96146
Station 56 is staffed by the District through a contract with Alpine Springs County Water District. This station provides full services to the community of Alpine Meadows and ambulance transport services to the community of Olympic Valley.

Station 58

Station 58 is staffed full-time. North Tahoe Fire Protection District provides fire Suppression, EMS, Rescue & Fire Services.
